Widows 7 is an operating system developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is the successor to Windows Vista, and predecessor to Windows 8.
Issues
Windows update reminder has no option for 'Never'
The Windows update reminder notification lists only 4 hours as the maximum time to delay the popup from annoying you again. Microsoft has either forgot or neglected to add in 'Never' as an option when selecting how much you want to delay the reminder from popping up.
Solution
- Click on Start
- Type in cmd
- Type in sc stop wuauserv
- Hit enter

Cause Windows Color Calibration: if you have used the Windows color calibration tool in the past then this is the most likely cause for the Windows Photo Viewer slowdown.
Solution
- Right click on the Desktop
- Click Screen Resolution -> Advanced Settings -> Color Management Tab -> Color Management -> Advanced -> Change System Defaults
- Click on the default profile (it should have the word calibrated) and click Remove
- The new default profile should not have the word calibrated in it
- Close the Windows and try Windows Photo Viewer
