Android is a mobile operating system currently developed by Google Inc. It is an open source alternative to closed solutions such as Apple's iOS and Microsoft's Windows Phone.

Issues[edit]

Connecting mobile device via USB does not allow file transfer[edit]

When you connect your android mobile device, like the Samsung Galaxy S5, Google Nexus 6, or LG G4, the device does not appear in your computer but the phone charges normally. The reason for this is that not all micro-usb cables support file transfer. You will need to buy a new micro-usb cable.

Can't copy photos from phone to PC[edit]

When trying to copy your photos from your phone, an error will popup saying the library, drive or media pool is empty

Solution[1]

This error occurs when you are trying to copy a corrupted file from the source. Windows will copy images till it reaches the corrupted file then it will stop, so it is easy to see which file is corrupted. I deleted the file and windows allowed me to copy all files from the source to the destination.
